Who Is Truth

Reframing our questions

The argument of this book is not that we have been giving wrong answers. It is that we have been asking questions with an assumption already buried in them — that truth is a set of ideas to be grasped rather than a person to be known.

Twelve chapters end by asking the same question twice. Read down the column and you have the whole book in miniature.
